Useful Information for AP Students and Parents
We are planning for the administration of AP exams in May. To guide all students and parents through the AP exam process, we will be delivering to current AP students a copy of the 2014-15 AP Bulletin for Students and Parents published by the College Board. Follow the links to view the Bulletin in English and/or the Bulletin in Spanish. For parents of students with documented disabilities, we encourage you to read page 7. All documentation has to be submitted to the College Board by February 20 in order for testing accommodations to be considered. For advice on this process, you may contact Mrs. Amy Cole, Coordinator for Students with Disabilities, at coleat@pwcs.edu or Mrs. Meg Holt, AP Coordinator, at holtmh@pwcs.edu.
Math IXL Lab Now Open Before School
The Math IXL Lab will open at 7:00 a.m. and will give students an opportunity to complete their Math IXL homework while also getting additional math practice.  Students enrolled in all math classes will benefit from this program since it adapts to each student’s individual skill level and provides immediate feedback. Please contact your child’s math teacher for more specific information or simply remind your son/daughter that the math lab is now open before school each morning.
2015-2016 Course Requests
Scheduling for 2015-2016 is just around the corner! Teachers are currently making their course recommendations for their students.

Students will be able to review those recommendations, and make additional course requests, through Parent Portal from January 31 through February 5. Click here for directions on how to use Parent Portal to make those requests. In addition, the course catalog is available by clicking here.

Once the online course request window closes, counselors will be meeting with individual students to discuss their 2015-2016 schedules.
