With the onset of the cold and flu season, Hylton's supply of tissues and hand sanitizer is running low as we try to provide for each classroom. We would greatly appreciate donations of these items. Every little bit helps! Items should be brought to the main office and will be distributed to teachers.

Hylton will host the first CISL Program Information Night Thursday, November 12, at 7:00pm. All interested parents and students are encouraged to join us to learn about this AWESOME program!

Come cheer your class team on at the Powder Puff Football game Monday, November 9 at 6:00pm!. Cost is $3.00 to get in. Freshman will face the juniors first; sophomores challenge the seniors second; and the winners battle it out in the championship game. Players, coaches, and cheerleaders need to be there by 5:30pm.

Due to a mistake made by the printing company, seniors need to return their Senior T-shirts during all lunch shifts Monday, Nov. 9, or Tuesday, Nov. 10. If you don't return the shirts those days, you should return the shirts to the front office by Friday, Nov. 13. There will be no collection of shirts after Nov. 13.

Be sure your first initial and last name are clearly written on a piece of masking tape and place that tape on the bottom of the inside of the back of the shirt.

Come Support your Wrestling Bulldogs! This Sunday, November 8, Hylton is hosting the 1st Annual Hylton Bulldog Pre-Season Wrestling Tournament! Even if you don’t wrestle come watch or help out. For more information go to the wrestling webpage.

PWC Regulation 636-1 states: "A physician's statement will be required if a student cannot resume normal activity after the five-day period. The physician's statement should provide information that explains the limitations of participation for the student". The Medical Excuses form must be completed by the physician. This form was also provided to each family at the beginning of the school year.

Please be advised that picture day makeup for Underclassmen has been rescheduled. The new date is Tuesday, November 17th.

The last day for Senior makeups is still Friday, November 13th in the auditorium from 2:30pm.

Interested in participating in Girls or Boys Basketball, Wrestling, Indoor Track, or Swimming? Tryouts start November 16. At time of tryouts, be sure to turn in a completed physical form dated after May 1, 2009. No physicals will be accepted after November 18.

In our Science classes students will be doing activities that may require the use of hazardous materials and equipment. Because every student has a right to be in a safe and productive environment, the contract below must be signed by parent and student and returned to their science teacher.
